PINE RUN HSA E-MAIL COMMUNICATION PROCESS Policy
The Pine Run Home & School Association is starting an e-Mail Communication Process or ECP to allow easier communication of HSA events to those who choose to receive them. Our goal is to eventually eliminate paper forms and notifications (although not yet) and also avoid the unfortunate cases where children may lose information via the Backpack Delivery Method! Your e-mail addresses will be hidden from view and will not be published or shared with anyone but the Executive Board of the HSA and the Communication Committee Lead. And we will sincerely attempt to limit the e-mails to twice per month, as the situation will permit.
If you choose to join the HSA e-Mail Communication Process . . .
You WILL receive these types of e-mails on a regular basis:
• Reminders, Agendas and Minutes regarding the HSA General meetings
• Announcements of HSA Fundraising activities start and end dates such as March into Spring, schedules for the
Book Fair, School Assemblies, Family Fun Nights, etc.
• Monthly reminders to participate in Passive Fundraising such as E-Scrip, Acme Receipts and BoxTops
• Announcements of Community Activities that are either sponsored by or affiliated with the HSA such as the
Blood Drive or the Mother Hubbard’s Cupboard Food Drive
• Requests for volunteers for some HSA events such as the Book Fairs, Spring Fair, Holiday Shop, etc.
• HSA surveys and questionnaires - so that the Executive Board can receive and incorporate all of your opinions
in a simple electronic fashion
You WILL NEVER receive the following:
• Advertisements or solicitations for anything outside of the Pine Run School and HSA Community
• Sports sign-ups, Scouts, Church groups, etc. as these are all available in the CBSD E-Friday Folder
• E-mail jokes or Chain mail
This is the first of many technology changes the HSA will be making for the future. Please join us in supporting these changes and help bring the HSA up-to-speed with ever changing technology!
Thank you for your dedication and commitment to Pine Run,
The HSA Executive Board
