      At Pine Run Elementary School, our unique physical plant is symbolic of our philosophy.  Opened in 1971,
  at a time when this type of school architecture was popular, Pine Run stands today as one of the few successful open space
    schools in the region.  We believe that the "school without walls" setting, in combination with the talents of our teaching
